What you will do:

The Associate Director, Market Size & Growth Model is responsible for developing, maintaining, and refining financial analytical models that estimate market size, growth trajectories, and competitive landscapes. This role plays a critical part in strategic planning, investment decisions, and corporate forecasting by leveraging data analytics, economic modeling, and industry insights. The manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, including strategy, finance, product development, and data science, to ensure accurate, data-driven decision-making

How you will do it:

Market Modelling & Forecasting

  • Develop and enhance models that estimate total addressable market (TAM), serviceable addressable market (SAM), and serviceable obtainable market (SOM).

  • Build forecasting models to predict market growth based on economic, demographic, and industry-specific factors.

  • Ensure continuous updates and refinements to reflect changes in market conditions, regulatory environments, and competitive dynamics.

Data Collection & Analysis

  • Identify, acquire, and integrate diverse data sources (e.g., economic indicators, industry reports, competitor performance, customer insights).

  • Conduct deep-dive analysis to uncover trends, drivers, and risks impacting market growth.

  • Leverage data visualization tools to present findings in an intuitive and actionable format.

Strategic Insights & Business Impact

  • Provide executive leadership with actionable insights derived from market models.

  • Support corporate strategy, business development, and investment teams with scenario planning and market entry analysis.

  • Assess competitive positioning and identify opportunities for market expansion.

  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align offerings with market demand.

Governance & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Establish best practices for model governance, validation, and version control.

  • Ensure transparency and credibility of models through proper documentation and validation processes.

  • Communicate findings and methodologies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Partner with IT and data engineering teams to operationalize models efficiently.

What we look for:

Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in market analysis, strategic forecasting, or data modelling roles.

  • Proficiency in statistical programming languages (Python, R, SQL) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).

  • Strong understanding of econometrics, predictive modeling, and market research methodologies.

  • Experience with large datasets, cloud-based analytics platforms, and data automation processes.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to translate complex analyses into clear business recommendations.

  • Leadership experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholder relationships.

Preferred

  • Experience in industries such as technology, healthcare, finance, or consumer markets is preferred.
