Position Overview: Bullseye Media is seeking a meticulous Copy Editor to join our team. As a Copy Editor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of all written content produced by our agency. You will collaborate closely with our team of writers, content strategists, and project managers to uphold our high editorial standards and deliver exceptional content that meets the needs and objectives of our clients. Responsibilities: Review and edit a wide range of content, including articles, blog posts, website copy, social media posts, marketing materials, and more, to ensure clarity, coherence, accuracy, and adherence to style guidelines. Correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax errors while maintaining the intended voice and tone of the content. Conduct fact-checking and verify information to ensure accuracy and credibility. Ensure consistency in style, tone, and messaging across all content pieces and projects. Collaborate effectively with writers, providing constructive feedback and guidance to improve the quality of their work. Work closely with project managers to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and changes in language usage to continuously improve editorial processes and standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field. Proven experience as a copy editor or similar role, preferably in a digital marketing or content creation environment. Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax. Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying errors and inconsistencies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback. Proficiency in using editing tools and style guides (e.g., AP Stylebook, Chicago Manual of Style). Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization techniques is a plus.
