Job Description

Summary:

Since 1997, AlphaStaff has delivered HR outsourcing solutions to thousands of small and medium-sized businesses across the country, as well as some large organizations. We are searching for a Senior NetSuite Administrator for Cymbiotika, one of our premier clients located in San Diego, CA. Cymbiotika is a rapidly-growing wellness brand focused on delivering high-quality, science-backed supplements and health products through direct-to-consumer and retail channels.

This position is fully in-office and plays a critical role in supporting the company’s operational growth by managing and optimizing their NetSuite ERP system. Key responsibilities include leading NetSuite-related projects, enhancing workflow and reporting functionality, and supporting cross-functional operations through system improvements. Success in this environment requires strong communication and project management skills, functional NetSuite experience across modules, and the ability to think strategically about system-wide impacts and scalability.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and optimize NetSuite ERP across all modules, including Finance, Supply Chain, and E-commerce.
  • Manage cross-functional NetSuite-related projects, from scoping and prioritization through execution and completion.
  • Evaluate and improve business processes through system customizations, automation, and integration opportunities.
  • Serve as an internal expert on NetSuite capabilities such as SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, saved searches, roles/permissions, and workflow management.
  • Recommend scalable configuration solutions that avoid excessive customization and vendor lock-in.
  • Partner with internal teams and third-party tools (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, ShipStation, RF Smart) to maintain and enhance data flow and functionality.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members; potential to lead and mentor other admin-level staff.
  • Support end users through training, troubleshooting, and documentation of NetSuite features and processes.
  • Reduce reliance on external vendors by building internal knowledge and ownership of NetSuite capabilities.
  • Proactively identify and communicate risks, limitations, or downstream impacts of system changes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of NetSuite administration experience. Experience with full-cycle implementation or post-go-live optimization is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong proficiency with SuiteFlow workflows and reporting tools such as saved searches and dashboards.
  • Understanding of SuiteScript concepts and when to engage internal or external developers.
  • Demonstrated experience managing system projects with cross-departmental impact.
  • Familiarity with third-party integrations using tools like SuiteTalk, RESTlets, or middleware platforms.
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to translate operational requirements into system configurations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a solution-oriented and proactive mindset.
  • Experience in CPG, e-commerce, or retail environments is preferred.
  • NetSuite Administrator or SuiteFoundation certification is a plus.

Compensation and Perks:

  • $90,000 – $100,000 salary range, flexible based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
  • Employer pays 100% of premiums for employee-only coverage on base medical, dental, and vision plans.
  • 401(k) with generous employer match: 100% of the first 3%, 50% of the next 2%.
  • Weekly catered lunches and complimentary coffee, snacks, kombucha, and cold brew on tap.
  • Wellness perks including on-site meditation room, red-light therapy, and complimentary ClassPass membership.
  • 70% employee discount on all products and 50% off for friends and family.
  • VIP suite access to Padres home games at Petco Park.
  • Team-building events and company-sponsored community volunteer opportunities.
  • Mentorship and support for personal and professional development.
  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and sick time, plus company holidays.
